Maria Belli is an accomplished IT leader, Salesforce Hall of Fame inductee, and a trusted advisor in the field of health systems technology. Currently serving as the IT Associate Director for Campus Health Systems within Health Sciences IT, Maria brings over a decade of experience with Salesforce, a deep understanding of Yale’s technology landscape, and a passion for advancing health and well-being initiatives on campus.
Maria’s journey in technology began in 2010 when she first started working with the Salesforce platform. Her expertise and dedication to the Salesforce ecosystem quickly earned her the peer-nominated distinction of Most Valuable Professional (MVP) in 2013. In 2023, she was inducted into the prestigious Salesforce Hall of Fame, an honor given to individuals who have made extraordinary contributions to the Salesforce community.
Before joining Health Sciences IT, Maria spent five years at Yale Information Technology Services, where she played a pivotal role in Salesforce Platform Services and Development. During her tenure, she advanced through the ranks, ultimately leading the team as its manager for the past two and a half years. In her new role, Maria is tasked with leading the IT team, overseeing software architecture and development, and managing stakeholder engagement to build systems that support a wide range of campus health initiatives. Her work will help transform and streamline systems for routine health requirements, employee health, campus well-being programs, and public health monitoring.
Maria’s expertise in Salesforce and her leadership experience make her a vital asset to the Campus Health team. She is particularly excited to be joining just in time for the launch of the Health On Track student program, a key initiative designed to enhance student health management and engagement. Throughout her career, Maria has earned a reputation as a strategic thinker, a hands-on leader, and a trusted collaborator, making her uniquely qualified to help shape the future of campus health technology.
