Why We’re Doing This
This project will transform how we manage software by:
- Creating a Single Source of Truth: A centralized inventory with all the details you need—functionality, license terms, and more.
- Optimizing Our Spending: The app will help departments find out if their needs can be met with software we already own, reducing redundant purchases.
- Enhancing Compliance and Security: We’ll ensure all software meets our security standards and institutional policies.
- Improving Transparency: Making software information easy to find and access for everyone.
